Mobile Content Manager

Motivation

The idea for the Mobile Content Manager (aka CMS) came from user requests.

Content creators and small business owners wanted a way to manage their site data on the go – update collections, fix typos or check content status without opening a laptop.

Research

The product team had already defined the vision and core functionality when I joined the team. My focus was to ensure that CMS feature would feel natural within the existing Wix mobile ecosystem.

I started by mapping current Wix app flows, reviewing competitors with similar capabilities and identifying UX patterns that could make the experience intuitive and consistent with the rest of the product.

Wireframes

After completing the research, I created wireframes to translate the findings into a clear and consistent user experience. The goal was to define how users would browse, view and edit their collections within the mobile interface while keeping interactions lightweight and intuitive. These wireframes helped validate the main flows, align with the product team and set a strong foundation for the visual design phase

To monitor user reactions right after launch we added a feedback button directly on the mobile CMS home screen. This allowed us to quickly collect feedbacks and requests.

Within just a few days users started actively sharing feedback.

Seeing these reactions in real time was incredibly motivating for the entire team and helped us prioritize the next iterations with confidence.
